Weather

Korea lies in the temperate zone and has four distinct seasons : spring, summer, fall, and winter. Spring lasts from late March to May and is warm. Various flowers, including the picturesque cherry blossom, cover the nation’s mountains and fields during this time. Summer lasts from June to early September. It is the hottest and the most humid time of the year. Monsoon season usually begins around the end of June and lasts till mid-to-late July. During the fall lasting from September to November, the country experiences cool, sunny weather, cobalt blue sky, and spectacular foliage that is perhaps the biggest draw. Fall is the most pleasant time of the year. Winter is cold and dry. Heavy snowfall in the northern and eastern part of Korea makes it great time for enjoying winter sports.

Average temperature of each season is as follows: Spring 16 ~ 20°C, Summer 25~30°C, Fall 15~18°C, Winter 0~ 7°C.
